The new vintage series was created with the aim of bringing the aesthetic finish back to its leading role in the painting industry.
In recent years we have focused on enhancing the functional features of paints, like a better performing primer on conductivity and so on, but we overlooked the key peculiarity of paints, which is mainly an aesthetic matter, something to get noticed.
Thanks to a particular powder granulometry, a specific silica developed by working closely with one of our key suppliers and a unique formulation, we are able to obtain a vintage effect, a not homogeneous result, while applying the paints.
Basically, during the application it almost seems like the primer comes out first and the metal particles come at a later time. This is certainly due to the unique formulation, but also to some recommendations while applying the paint.
Indeed, we suggest setting a high volume air flow so that the powder flow is maximised. It is also recommended to apply the powder very close to the item.
These not homogeneous effects can be achieved by both manual application - which obviously can optimise this kind of finish - and by automatic painting.
We like to think we created a paint that can really make our customers' products unique. We will never have two identical items.
We also like to think this vintage series provides coaters with the ability to customise products according to their skills and inspiration.
Painters are no longer only a means to the end of the process, but actual creators of unique finishes and effects.
